Shiatsu

Nicole Müller is graduated from ISS in Geneva "Shiatsu practician", member of ASS. Recognized by most of the Swiss health insurance.

Shiatsu is a therapeutic massage finding its origins in Japan and based on Traditional Chinese Medicine. The word shiatsu means "finger pressure", and shiatsu is sometimes described as a finger pressure massage.

This art of touch use the stimulation of the acupuncture points, treats the person in his globality by using precise and nuances pressures along energy channels linked to the organs and called meridians.

A treatment is composed by different techniques such as joints mobilisation, stretching, palpation, etc. It aims to restore a balanced flow of energy within the meridians and to enhance vitality and well being such on physical as emotional level.

Shiatsu is accessible to everybody and particularly indicated to treat the following :

chronicle and acute pain

muscular or joint pain

neck and shoulder stiffness

backache

stress, nervosity
